Today YES & MSG announced they have formed Gotham Advanced Media and Entertainment («GAME»), a new 50/50 digital technology joint venture.
This partnership could eventually lead to them offering a direct-to-consumer product with the Yankees, Knicks, Rangers, Nets, Islanders and Devils all on one platform.
For local New York fans, the partnership could be a further bridge to cutting the cable cord if Gotham eventually puts all of its teams on one service.
As a fan of the Knicks, Rangers and Yankees, this is an exciting prospect!
