New York Rangers send strict message to the team as their forced to pull Igor Shesterkin in the 2nd period
The New York Rangers are back to embarrassing themselves this afternoon as they face off against the Los Angeles Kings.
The New York Rangers have are having a really tough time during their afternoon game against the Kings, ultimately leading them to pull
Igor Shesterkin in the second period of a disastrous 5-1 games. This is now the second time Shesterkin has been pulled mid game.
This unfortunately comes after Igor Shesterkin gave up five goals on 21 shots and 3 goals in 2:18 minutes. However it isn't purely his fault the game has turned out like this.
In reality, if you look at the stats and statistics of the game it's mainly due to the Rangers lack of defensive help Shesterkin is receiving.
This is arguably the worst performance the Rangers have played through 40 minutes of play as they are playing with no sense of urgency and letting the Kings run the entire show.
Unfortunately Igor Shesterkin will solely take the hit for letting up five goals, as he sat on the bench with his helmet on for the remaining of the second period.

To add to the embarrassment fans rightfully proceed to fill the arena with boo's, as the Rangers struggles are on full display.
Now as the third period comes to an end, not much has changed for the Rangers as they still continue to play sloppy and turn over the puck.
Something seriously needs to change within the New York Rangers organization, whether it be the coaching staff, upper management like their GM, or an entire roster shake up, because fans and many alike are not thrilled with spending their hard earned money to watch their favourite team fall apart and nothing gets changed.
