NHL Insider reveals that the Vancouver Canucks organization has made a massive mistake and traded the wrong guy.

Recently the New York Rangers and Vancouver Canucks combined for a trade that involved J.T. Miller on Friday, but according to recent reports that was the wrong move in the eyes of some Canucks players.
According to NHL insider Frank Seravalli, several players in Vancouver are not happy with this blockbuster trade:
«A lot of players in Vancouver are very upset about the Miller trade, and that this wasn't the move they wanted,» Seravalli said on SN960.
Since the beginning of the season there has been talks about an altercation between Miller and Elias Pettersson, which after serval months the talk never seemed to go away.
Then finally Jim Rutherford, the President of Hockey Operations confirmed that there was some tension between two players and that something needed to change.
«I felt like for a long time that there was a solution here because everybody has worked on it, including the parties involved... But it only gets resolved for a short period of time and then it festers again and so it certainly appears like there's not a good solution that would keep this group together,» Rutherford said.

However, the Canucks were seemingly forced to make a change for their organization by trading either Miller or Pettersson and luckily it was Miller.
Following Canucks GM Patrik Alvin's latest statement there is now an added pressure on Pettersson to perform at a higher level.
"My expectation is higher on him than anyone else on our team, and I expect him to meet my expectation, and I expect him to meet his own expectation," Canucks general manager Patrik Allvin said. "So far, he has not done that. If you talk to him, he's disappointed. But he's aware of it, and I know that he's capable and that he will work at it.»

Since joining the Rangers, Miller has certainly been a difference maker as he already tallied two goals and 2 assists in just 3 games, along with adding a much needed spark to the rest of the team.
