Panarin Has Been Named The NHL Playoff Performer Of The Week
Factoring on a winning goal for a fourth straight game, Artemi Panarin helped the Rangers gain a 3-0 Second Round series advantage with two game winning goals while sharing the Stanley Cup Playoffs scoring lead as the NHLPA Playoff Performer of the Week!
Vincent Trocheck spoke on the game winner last night from Panarin:
Panarin has now tied Frank Boucher (1928), Mark Messier (1994) and Brian Leetch (1994) for most game-winning goals in a single Rangers post-season. The Rangers are the 12th team in NHL history to begin a postseason 7-0. 8 of the previous 11 teams went on to win the Stanley Cup, including the 1994 Rangers.
