Peter Laviolette issues shocking statement on Rangers star players
Following the tough loss to the Florida Panthers during game 5 of the Eastern Conference Finals, News York Rangers head coach had a few things to say about his star players.
With the New York Rangers falling short against the Florida Panthers during game 5 losing 3-2 after an empty net goal, Peter Laviolette had a few things to say about star players, Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad.
Here's Laviolette's statement of the two:
Peter Laviolette on Mika Zibanejad and Chris Kreider: "I thought they both played hard tonight... There was some positive things there."
Laviolette believed they both played a good game and had the right intentions, which they did as Kreider got an impressive breakaway goal after picking off a pass from Tkachuk.
However, Zibanejad on the other hand ended up getting two impressive assists during the game, but the worrisome part is, he didn't get a single shot on net throughout the entire 60 minutes of play.
