Pregame Notes: New York Rangers at Boston Bruins, Where and how to watch

The New York Rangers made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 2023-2024, and will begin their 99th season in the NHL tonight.

The Rangers will play six total preseason games, shown below before their regular season opener begins in Pittsburgh with the Metropolitan Division rivals, the Penguins.


Sept. 22 at BOS - 5 PM

Sept. 24 vs. NYI - 7 PM

Sept. 26 vs. BOS - 7 PM

Sept. 30 at NJD - 7 PM

Oct. 1 vs. NJD - 7 PM

Oct. 4 at NYI - 7 PM

Boston to Begin

The Rangers will face off against the Bruins in TD Garden, in a match that takes place tonight at 5:00 PM. Last season the Rangers went 3-0-0 against the Bruins and would outscore them 14-7.

Artemi Panarin would lead the way, scoring 7 points( 4 G, 3 A) in three games against the original six team.

63 Players Invited to Training Camp

The Rangers invited a total of 63 players to training camp this season, with 36 forwards competing for a spot, 21 defensemen, and six goaltenders in the net.

Of all 63 players, only 28 would play at least one game for the Bueshirts last season.

Raoul Boillard( 4th-round) and Nathan Aspinall(5th-round) will be representing the newest draft class(2024) at training camp.
