Rangers Clinch Game One Off The Awesome Performance Of Matt Rempe
Matt Rempe scored the first of three quick Rangers goals and became the first Ranger player to score in his first career playoff game since Matt Gilroy in Game 1 of the 2011 Conference Quarterfinals, ironically enough, also against the Capitals.
Rempe addresses the media on scoring his career first playoff goal in front of his Mom at the Garden in her first trip ever to New York:
