It seems that Rangers head coach Peter Laviolette is refusing to adjust his team especially on the power play as it continues to struggle and have poor performances every game.

the Rangers power play was considered their best asset as it helped the team win the Presidents Trophy and cruise through the first few rounds of the playoffs. After game five, the Rangers power play is gone one for 14 in the series which is not acceptable and will make it very difficult to win this series if nothing changes.

Laviolette was asked if they would be willing to move Alexis Lafrenière off power play 2 and head to PP1 to spark offence. It's clear that Laviolette is hesitant to move people around.

The Rangers have their work cut out for them as the Panthers are looking to closeout the series in New York. Even though game five was a better effort, it seems that the Panthers are tilting the ice in their favour every game especially with their shots on goal being more by a wide margin.

The Rangers need their top line to ignite and become a power line once again and it showed some signs of life during Game 5 but it's possibly too little too late unless they can change it around quickly.

Game 6 will be held at Amerant Bank Arena on Saturday June 1st and puck drop will be at 8:00 PM eastern.
