The NHL disrespects Chris Drury following recent announcement
New Yorks Rangers GM Chris Drury, gets completely disrespected by the National Hockey League's recent announcement.
Despite the unfortunate end to the Rangers season, Chris Drury did an outstanding job with providing the New York Rangers with an impressive roster.
The New York Rangers surpassed many expectations this year, with finishing in first place throughout the entire NHL with 55 wins and 23 losses for a total of 114 points. They even had a pretty successful postseason as they made it to the Eastern Conference Finals.
However, The NHL announced the winner of the GM of the year award during game two of the Stanley Cup Final last night and Chris Drury got disrespected.
General manager Jim Nill of the Dallas Star won the award for the second year in a row by a pretty good margin.
Chris Drury fell in fourth place with 61 points, and with how well he managed the Rangers roster and overcame all the obstacles along the way, it feels like he should've been recognized more.
Dallas Stars GM Jim Nill wins the General Manager of the Year Award for the 2nd year in a row. #TexasHockey
