The Rangers Have A Habit Of Allowing These Type Of Goals
Yesterday the Rangers lost in overtime, 3-2 to the San Jose Sharks, also known as the worse team in the league, after holding a 2-0 lead heading into the third period.
It dropped them to 1-2-1 on this West-coast swing, with wins in just four of their last 12 games to start the new year.
The Rangers are 11-11-2 in their last 24 games dating back to Dec. 5.
Something more troubling however, the person who scored the game-tying goal last night, was Ryan Carpenter.
He was a former Ranger from 2022-2023.
His goal scored is the 79th goal by a former Ranger against the team since the start of the 2017-18 season.
The Rangers lead the league by a significant margin in this category.
The Anaheim Ducks are in second place with 60.
Two of Carpenter's three goals of the season were scored against the Rangers.
Something else to just roll our eyes at I suppose.
