NHL insider confirms a reunion between the New York Rangers and Patrick Kane seems likely.

Over the last few weeks there has been tons of speculation that the Rangers are interested in signing Kane this summer.

Now a recent report from Larry Brooks of The New York Post's has confirmed these rumours even further.

«But it is our best information that the Blueshirts have their eyes trained on a reunion with Kane, whose 19-game cameo following the 2023 deadline, when he was compromised because of hip issues, left everyone wanting more,» Brooks wrote.

While Kane is obviously not what he once was during his time with the Chicago Blackhawks, but last season Kane proved he can still produce at a high level.

After returning from a hip surgery, the 35-year-old still managed to record 20 goals, 27 assists and 47 points in 50 games.

Unfortunately, Kane's hip surgery had a negative impact when he was with the New York Rangers during the 2022-2023 season. However now that he is fully healed, many believe Kane is still a top-six forward and could be a great asset for the Rangers.
