The Coyotes Issue Major Statement On State Land In Arizona
The Arizona Coyotes announce their commitment to win the State Land auction, to build a privately funded arena and entertainment district in North Phoenix off Scottsdale Road / 101 freeway.
The land, consisting of over 110-acres in Northeast Phoenix, would be the site of a 17,000 seat arena.
The project will be entirely funded, including $100-million worth of infrastructure improvements to sell to the Arizona State Land Department at a later date.
The auction is scheduled for June 27.
