Rangers Complete A Transaction
This is the second recall to the Rangers for Leschyshyn, who made his season debut with the Rangers on Jan. 11 against the St. Louis Blues.
The Wolf Pack will proceed tonight with 12 available forwards on the roster, meaning both Turner Elson and Cristiano DiGiacinto will draw in against the Scranton Penguins.
Jake Leschyshyn has appeared in 16 games with the Wolf Pack this season, scoring seven points (4 g, 3 a).
There is no word on a potential injury to a player on the Rangers.
The Rangers do have a set of back-to-back games tomorrow against the Vegas Golden Knights at home and the Ottawa Senators on the road, so the recall of Jake Leschyshyn could be a precaution.
We will update as more information becomes available.
