Taking a look at the New York Rangers projected lineup as they get prepared to face-off against the Calgary Flames.

Tonight will be an interesting battle between the two teams as this will be the first time the Rangers and Flames will face against each other for the 2024-25 season.

However, Rangers reporter Vince Z. Mercogliano has released the New York Rangers warmup rushes, which will more than likely be the Rangers lineups against the Flames:

Everything looks the same for #NYR lineup:

Kreider - Zib - Smith
Panarin - Trocheck - Laf
Cuylle - Brodzinski - Kakko
Edstrom - Carrick - Vesey

Miller - Fox
Lindgren - Trouba
Jones - Schneider

Unfortunately Rangers forward Filip Chytil didn't join the team at practice today after sustaining an upper-body injury, leaving Jonny Brodzinski filling his spot.

Plan is for Filip Chytil to skate with the #NYR extras today after the team is done. He won't be available to the media.

No. 72 will speak when he's closer to playing. I think that counts him out for playing tonight vs. Flames.

Along with that it has been confirmed by several sources that the New York Rangers will be starting Igor Shesterkin in nets tonight.

Igor is in the first goalie off. Should be his net tonight in Calgary #NYR

Just keep in mind this is just a projection, as nothing has officially been confirmed by the New York Rangers themself. Once we get the official confirmation we will be sure to keep you updated.
