New York Rangers superstars legacy in jeopardy following game 5 loss
The New York Rangers need their superstar forward Artemi Panarin to show up to game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals and perform the best he can.
The Florida Panthers managed to take a 3-2 series lead after Thursday nights game, and now have the chance to eliminate the Rangers in game 6 on Saturday.
Throughout the regular season, Panarin tallied up 120 points with 49 goals and 71 assists. Being a main contributor to the Rangers success. However during game the last five games of the Eastern Conference Finals he hasn't been able to score.
Panarin's stats during the last five games:
This comes as a shock as the 32-year old, Panarin is arguably one of the Rangers best players, making his disappearance in this series worrisome.
Panarin truly needs to make a statement in game 6 and bounce back harder than ever showing everyone what he's capable of, not just by scoring but by created opportunities with his speed and shifty puck handling skills.
The Rangers and Panthers will face off for game 6 on Saturday, June 1st at 8:00PM. As the Rangers will try and force game 7.
