A Voice Legend In The Hockey World Has Passed Away
The game has lost one of its most recognized voices. Legendary Hockey Night In Canada broadcaster Bob Cole has passed away at the age of 90.
Cole's Hockey Night in Canada swansong came April 6, 2019, the regular-season finale in Montreal between the Canadiens and Toronto Maple Leafs. His career began in 1969.
Cole was honoured by the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1996 when he won the Foster Hewitt Memorial Award for outstanding contributions as a hockey broadcaster.
May he rest in peace.
