It's becoming a reoccurring pattern that teams like the Vegas Golden Knights can push their injured players onto the long-term injury reserve just at the right time prior to the trade deadline.
This news came back into full view as the Golden Knights star forward Mark Stone suffered another injury.
This injury of course was real as all of them are as he suffered a lacerated spleen.
ESPN analyst Greg Wyshynski broke down what has been going on with the Knights and other teams including the Tampa Bay Lightning who have done similar tactics with their players.
It's safe to say that many NHL teams find ways to circumvent the cap as it's well within the rule book to do so.
Many teams are culprits of this including the Toronto Maple Leafs, Golden Knights, Lightning, and others as they have specialists looking to get any advantage they can while using their resources.
All eyes will be on Vegas to see who they will pick up during the deadline as this team is always active and of their stars will happen to return once again at just the right time.
