The All-Star break and weekend are a special time for most NHL players as it gives many a chance to rest and spend time with their family while heading on vacation with their teammates and others get to see players participate in the festivities.

One such game that happens across the league is the Alumni Game where former players and superstars get to dress up again and slap on their skates and give the crowd a chance to see them long after they retired.
One player who recently retired was Rangers goalie superstar Henrik Lundquist.
His alumni teammates decided to give him special treatment as The King attended his first time as an alumni participant.
It's a great moment for the fans and the players as they get to see one of the best goaltenders in Rangers history get to skate out and enjoy the limelight for a few minutes by himself.
The NHL Allstar festivities will begin on Thursday February 1st and will stretch through the weekend till February 3rd.
The Rangers will have three people in the All-Star game including Vincent Trocheck, Igor Shesterkin and Peter Laviolette as head coach.
