Two former Rangers stars take a trip down memory lane in a replica of the best hockey player of all time's basement.
Many pundits across the NHL and fans felt that the 2024 NHL All Star weekend was a great success. Players, managers and others flocked to the city and gave the fans a more traditional All-Star game along with the newly revamped skills competition that showed more of their talents.
All the festivities were ongoing, former Rangers defenseman Keith Yandle decided to join Wayne Gretzky as both men took a tour of a replica of Gretzky's basement when he was younger.
It was incredible to see all the TV's, sticks, jerseys and even hockey cards that were on display so that fans could get a glimpse of why he was called The Great One.
As his records speak for himself, Gretzky's final game was played with the New York Rangers back in 1999 as he spanned a 21 year career that was one for the ages.
The Rangers will be at home as they face off against the Tampa Bay Lightning on February 7th. Game time will be 7:00 PM eastern.
