New York Rangers make shocking decision with Matt Rempe following troubling performance

The New York Rangers have just announced another shocking roster transaction as they took another embarrassing loss.

The New York Rangers faced off against the St. Louis Blues on Monday night and took an embarrassing 5-2 loss, making this their third consecutive loss.

Before the game took place the New York Rangers made an unexpected announcement as they recalled Matt Rempe to the lineup:

UPDATE: Matt Rempe has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack.

Along with that the Rangers recalled Brett Berard to the lineup and announced that two defenseman's Chad Ruhwedel and Victor Mancini have been reassigned to the Wolf Pack:

Following the game the New York Rangers have sent a clear message to Matt Rempe that his skills and attitude is not needed after he took a useless penalty during a crucial moment in the game:

Leaving the Rangers no choice but to reassign the 22-year old enforcer back to the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL, and recalled Chad Ruhwedel.

UPDATE: Chad Ruhwedel has been recalled from the Hartford Wolf Pack and Matt Rempe has been assigned to the Hartford Wolf Pack.
