Rangers Artemi Panarin ties Jaromir Jagr for most points in a season
The Rangers looked ready and poised as they began round two against the Carolina Hurricanes. Their All Star forward Artemi Panarin manage to tie Jaromir Jagr for the most points in a single season in New York Rangers history which include regular season and post season.
He has looked dominant as he scored a goal during the first game against Carolina which helped the Rangers win 4-3. Throughout his playoff he has played five games, score three goals one assist for four points, and will continue to dominate as the series moves on.
This season was by far his best in his career as he played all 82 games, scoring 49 goals with 71 assists for 120 points and was a + 18 with 24 penalty minutes.
His production will be vital to helping the Rangers beat the Hurricanes as both teams have many great stars who could put the puck in the net.
it's quite likely he will surpass Jagr and become the all-time points getter in one season. Panarin will get his chance again as the rangers will play game two against the Hurricanes on Tuesday May 7th and game time will be 7:00 PM eastern at Madison Square Gardens.
